Associate Designer

Blair Burton Interiors is seeking an experienced and talented Associate Designer to join our growing team. This is a mid-level role for a highly motivated designer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment and is eager to contribute to high-end residential projects from concept through installation.

This is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilities

Support Lead Designers across all phases of design, including concept development, space planning, and design presentations
Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings (floor plans, elevations, lighting, furniture plans, etc.)
Create 3D renderings and visualizations as needed
Source furniture, lighting, finishes, textiles, and materials aligned with project budgets and design direction
Prepare specifications, schedules, and client presentation materials
Communicate with vendors, showrooms, and workrooms for pricing, lead times, and availability
Participate in client meetings and provide direct client support
Assist with order tracking, documentation, and coordination through installation
Maintain organized project files and documentation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
Minimum of 3+ years experience working in a residential interior design firm
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong 3D rendering skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Self-motivated, kind, and professional demeanor
Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Pay: $78,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
