Chase USA International Inc. is a fast-growing apparel brand focused on delivering high-quality, trend-driven products with precise fit and construction. We are looking for an Assistant Apparel/Fashion Designer with strong technical skills to support our design and production teams.

position Overview:

The Assistant Apparel Fashion Designer will support the full design lifecycle—from trend research and concept development to technical garment review and factory communication. This role requires someone highly organized, detail-oriented, technically strong, and passionate about creating innovative, well-constructed apparel.

Key Responsibilities:

technical & Production Support

Take accurate garment measurements and analyze fit, construction, and overall quality.

Create detailed comments on samples, including fit, grading, construction, finishing, and trim issues.
Communicate fit and construction comments clearly to overseas factories and follow up to ensure proper execution.
Assist in preparing technical packets (tech packs), including measurement specs, sketches, BOMs, and construction details.
Track samples through development stages and maintain organized records.

Design & Creative Development

Research current fashion trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and competitive market data.

Assist in creating seasonal mood boards, color palettes, and concept presentations.
Support the development of new designs, sketches, and product concepts.
Work with the design team to prepare CADs, line sheets, and presentation materials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with production, merchandising, and marketing teams to support timely development.

Participate in fittings and document feedback accurately.
Help ensure design intent aligns with cost, quality, and production requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong technical apparel knowledge—measurements, fit, construction, and garment specs.
Ability to communicate clearly with factories and vendors.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel; experience with PLM systems is a plus.
Strong research skills and awareness of trends, fabrics, and competitive brands.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects.
Passion for fashion design, innovation, and product excellence.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
