About the Role

As a Jr. or Sr. Operational Bookkeeper, you’ll be the backbone of our bookkeeping operations; handling weekly and monthly tasks, ensuring books stay current, and closing out the books each month. If you prefer a behind-the-scenes role with minimal client interaction, this is the job for you! You'll also collaborate with the team to resolve issues and streamline financial processes.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Has at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, with all or some of that in a remote environment
Is proficient in QuickBooks Online
Has worked with multiple clients at once and can keep everything straight without breaking a sweat
Is familiar with bookkeeping for trades businesses—bonus points if you’ve worked with contractors, plumbers, electricians, etc.
Understands job costing and why it matters
Is a stickler for details and doesn’t let things fall through the cracks
Can quickly adapt to our systems and clients
Is proactive, confident, and knows when to ask for guidance
Communicates effectively (written & verbal)

This Position

This is a 1099 position for the first 90 days, then transitions to W-2. The position starts at 5-15 hours per week with significant room for growth! We’re looking for the right person just as much as you’re looking for the right opportunity!
