Assistant Designer
Closet Factory of New York & Long Island

Closet Factory of NY & Long Island is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Designer to support our Vice President of Sales. This is a hands-on role where you will gain valuable experience in custom design, client relations, and project management.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborate with our VP of sales to create detailed drawings and specifications for projects, including renovations and new constructions utilizing our CAD software.
Conducting remeasures and verifying job site dimensions.
Creating CAD designs and modifying existing CAD drawings as needed.
Communicating with customers via email, text, and phone.
Performing job site check-ups to ensure project accuracy and quality.
Preparing and submitting contracts.
Uploading and managing necessary project documents to our CRM.
Assisting our VP of Sales with any additional tasks as needed
Maintain organized project files and documentation to ensure smooth workflow throughout the design process.

Requirements:

Proficiency in CAD software (experience in design-related work is a plus)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to travel throughout Long Island and Manhattan as required
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities

Compensation:
$50,000 – $65,000 annually, based on experience.
