Role Overview: Area Sales Manager

We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused Area Sales Manager to grow Craft Standard’s presence across your assigned territory. This role is ideal for an early-career sales professional who understands the beverage world and thrives in fast-paced, high-volume account environments. You’ll work closely with wholesalers, venue partners, and key on-premise accounts to drive velocity, expand distribution, and execute programs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage a territory sales plan to grow distribution, volume, and visibility of Craft Standard.
Build strong relationships with distributor partners, on-premise accounts, and venue operators.
Execute ride-withs, staff trainings, product samplings, and menu/program sell-ins.
Identify, secure, and onboard high-traffic venues (stadiums, arenas, music venues, large bars, etc.).
Maintain accurate account records, reports, and forecasting.
Handle and transport product, POS materials, sample bottles, and kegs as needed (must be able to lift up to 60 lbs).
Travel 2+ weeks per month for meetings, market work, events, and venue activations.

Qualifications

1–4 years of experience in beverage, alcohol, or distributor sales (required).
Strong understanding of the on-premise landscape; experience working in or selling to large venues is a plus.
Based in or willing to relocate to Nashville, TN (for territory needs).
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a large, multi-state territory.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
Ability to lift, move, and set up 70 lb kegs and equipment.
