Social & Influencer Manager | DEAU | NYC (Part-Time)

DEAU is a high-performance Japanese skincare brand redefining what smart self-care looks like. We're looking for a Social & Influencer Manager to take full ownership of our digital presence and grow with us from the ground up.

This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll shape strategy and execute it. From content shoots to influencer partnerships to community building, you'll be the driving force behind how DEAU shows up online.

Note: This is a part-time role with potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance and brand growth.

What You'll Own

Social Media — End-to-end strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, and Threads. Content calendars, captions, scheduling, growth strategy, and analytics.
Influencer Marketing & Gifting — Outreach, relationship management, partnership negotiation, campaign briefs, gifting programs, and ROI tracking.
Community Engagement — Daily engagement across platforms. Brand voice consistency, sentiment monitoring, customer support, and community-building activations.
Content Creation — Graphic design, copywriting, video concept development, UGC curation, and lifestyle content shoots in NYC. You'll lead and participate in content days.

Qualifications

Based in NYC (in-person content days and shoots required)
Flexible availability — early-stage brands move fast and don't run 9-to-5
Beauty or skincare industry experience required
Proven track record growing a brand's social presence and following
Strong design and content creation skills
Deep understanding of luxury branding, digital storytelling, and audience psychology
Portfolio or examples of past work required

E-commerce: Shopify, TikTok Shop
Research: Google Trends, AnswerThePublic, Reddit, Facebook Groups, Pinterest
AI Tools: ChatGPT and Claude

Grow social media following across key platforms
Increase engagement rate by at least 50%
Develop a strong, instantly recognizable luxury brand aesthetic
Support content and campaigns that drive sales and conversions
