Summary of Position – Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will work closely with Decipher leadership to support the company’s data infrastructure strategy by providing data analysis that aids in product, content, and marketing efforts. In addition, the Data Analyst will help develop and streamline Decipher’s ongoing data collection and accessibility efforts by working closely with the team to identify procedural efficiencies and establish data storage guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

· Collect, process and analyze data from a variety of sources (digital documents, open source, etc.)

· Review reports, projects, and platforms to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

· Standardize, clean, and format raw data collected from source materials (web scraping, open source, digital documents, etc.).

· Collaborate with other Decipher team members to develop and improve the company’s comprehensive data strategy.

· Develop and present data-driven reports that clearly communicate key insights and findings to stakeholders.

· Become familiar with Decipher’s analytical tools and data infrastructure to fully understand internal systems, processes, and procedures.

· Apply basic statistical techniques to interpret data sets, identify trends, and analyze results.

· Design and implement effective data collection systems and analytical strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and enhance the quality of Decipher’s products.

· Support the integration of Decipher’s data into new and existing product features and offerings.

· Proven time management and organizational skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

· Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and process integrity.

· High degree of self-motivation and a demonstrated strong work ethic.

· Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential data with discretion and integrity.

· Advanced proficiency in data manipulation tools, including Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) and other relevant data analysis software.

· Highly adaptable and able to quickly adopt new processes, tools, and procedures in fast-paced, evolving environment.

· Eagerness to learn complex internal systems and processes, coupled with a willingness to propose creative solutions for workflow and infrastructure improvements.
