Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of MEP Project Manager TRAVELING or Relocation - multiple locations.

MEP Project Manager Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the MEP Project Manager is between $110,000 and $160,000.

MEP Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for managing a large construction project (or overseeing a team delivering multiple projects) and team functioning as the senior representative and primary point of contact for one or more large construction projects.
Learn and simultaneously teach new lean concepts and processes quickly.
Responsible for coordination of design, trades, and subcontractor interaction.
Applies defined policies and procedures and takes responsibility for decisions and project issues.
Develops and implements procedural systems and strategies to ensure the continuous improvement of project team and overall project performance.
Supports sales team during the pursuit of projects (presentations, estimate input, client input).
Manages critical project functions including equipment selection and subcontractor procurement.
Responsible for budget analysis and reports, cost and revenue projections, manpower curves, change orders, construction plans, etc.
Solely responsible for any cost impact related issues.
Leads team in assembling and presenting monthly project review to division leadership.

MEP Project Manager Qualifications

4-Year Accredited degree in Engineering, Construction Management or applicable experience.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the project management field Commercial or Mission Critical.
Have an in-depth knowledge of applicable design and installation of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing.
For the experience required by the role you will need to have knowledge of all the areas noted above, not just a single area.
Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans.
Ability to understand and/or write detailed sequences of operation for mechanical systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel.
