(PROGRAMMER / SYSTEM DEVELOPER)

Design-build various residential new construction ADU projects. Responsibilities:

Well versed with Autodesk Revit & Dynamo with coding lagauge capabilities.
Develop, optimize, and maintain internal business applications that streamline estimating, project management, and accounting workflows.
Automate and integrate Excel-based tools (including VBA macros, scripts, and formulas) to enhance efficiency in construction estimating, takeoffs, and reporting.
Design and maintain databases and backend systems for tracking materials, costs, and project data across multiple business units.
Collaborate with estimators, accountants, and project managers to identify inefficiencies and develop technical solutions to automate repetitive tasks.
Integrate existing software systems such as QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Trello, and estimating tools using APIs or custom scripts.
Maintain version control, data integrity, and security across all company applications and databases.
Develop dashboards and data visualizations to provide real-time insights into project progress, budgets, and financial performance.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for in-house software, databases, and automations.
Assist with implementation of new software platforms, including user training and documentation for non-technical staff.
Collaborate with management to align software development projects with business goals and operational priorities.
Ensure proper documentation for all developed systems, including code annotations, data flow diagrams, and system architecture outlines.
Evaluate new technologies and propose solutions that improve data efficiency, integration, and scalability across departments.
Maintain confidentiality and security standards, ensuring sensitive project and financial data is properly protected.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience: (Age 18+ w/ access to automotive transportation)

General College Degree or preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
Min 6-8 years of experience in software development, automation scripting, or systems integration and well experience with Revit.
Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Etc.)
Adobe Acrobat
Trello, QuickBooks, Google Products, YouTube
Effective soft skills (written/verbal)
Teamwork and team building abilities
Proficiency in VBA for Excel and Access; strong understanding of automation and data manipulation.
Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills
Analytical/Strategic thinking abilities
Experience with Python, JavaScript, or C# for backend and integration scripting
High attention to detail
Ability to Pioneer and innovate in a developing business environment

Pay:

Hourly: (: $80,000.00) – ( $120,000.00)

Schedule:

Full Time Position: 8hr Shifts /40hr’s a week
Monday-Friday (9:00am-5:30pm) PT
(2) 10-15min breaks included
30min lunch break
