Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant to support our financial operations. This part-time position focuses on accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger support, reconciliations, and payroll administration. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, and able to maintain confidentiality while working independently.

Key Responsibilities

Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
Download and record credit card expense transactions into the accounting system.
Review credit card receipts for completeness and compliance with organizational policies.
Assist with general ledger entries and maintain organized financial records.
Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit card statements, donation records, and ledger account balances.
Collect and verify employee timesheets, including hours worked, overtime, and PTO.
Enter approved hours and earnings into the payroll system.
Generate pre-process payroll reports and submit for approval.
Communicate with vendors and staff regarding billing and payment inquiries.
Support internal controls and assist with audit preparation as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience with accounting software, QuickBooks is strongly preferred
Solid understanding of payroll administration

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
