Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to support financial reporting processes and daily monitoring tasks. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor and process the receipt of financial statements
Communicate with members to resolve missing or late reports
Save financials in appropriate repositories
Facilitate extensions and waivers, and process fines for late submissions
Accurately enter financial data into the Automated Financial Reporting System (AFRS)
Track reports through the full approval and workflow closure cycle
Oversee daily surveillance emails and workflows (negative news, missing reports, account changes, etc.)
Review daily items requiring immediate action
Reconcile reporting and tracking tools for accuracy and timeliness
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Knowledge of financial reporting components including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, etc.
Experience in credit and financial statement analysis for financial institutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with high attention to detail and accuracy
