Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mozaik Designer & CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing complex components and programming CNC machines to produce precision parts. This role requires a strong background in CAD/CAM software, CNC machining, and manufacturing processes, with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, and technical accuracy. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Develop detailed designs and layouts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA, ensuring adherence to project specifications and blueprint schematics.
Program CNC milling machines, lathes, and other equipment utilizing CAM programming techniques, particularly with Fanuc controls.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and GD&T specifications to ensure precise manufacturing.
Set up and operate CNC machinery including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines, ensuring optimal performance and quality standards.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions.
Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and reduce waste while maintaining high-quality output.
Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, geometry, or machine setup; perform adjustments as necessary.
Maintain documentation of programs, tooling setups, and process parameters for continuous improvement efforts.
Collaborate with engineering teams on schematics interpretation and electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes when required.

Experience

Proven experience in CNC programming with Fanuc controls and familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, tooling selection, blueprint reading, and GD&T standards.
Experience working with CNC lathe and CNC milling machines in a precision manufacturing environment.
Mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in using precision measurement instruments like micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Ability to interpret schematics and electrical diagrams; understanding of electrical discharge machining (EDM) is advantageous.
Strong math skills related to geometry and measurements essential for accurate programming and quality control.
