Job Overview: As the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all engineering activities within the company. You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure the successful design, development, and implementation of products. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
Prioritize projects within the department and allocate staff and resources as necessary
Work as the liaison between engineering and all other departments
Work with sales to define engineering projects as they relate to new product design and provide estimation on engineering hours required
Establish and maintain design standards for the department
Manage resources needed to support engineering functions; including researching new technologies to advance the department
Document and follow up on internal change order requests
Regularly communicate with engineering staff to ensure consistent and accurate completion of tasks

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Proven experience (3 years) in a leadership role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional teams and influence key stakeholders.
Experience with CAD software, simulation tools, and other engineering software applications.
