Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Closet and Home Organization Designer to transform living spaces into organized, stylish, and functional environments. In this role, you will use your interior design expertise and sales skills to create custom solutions for every part of the home, including walk-in and reach-in closets, home entertainment centers, home offices, garages, laundry rooms, pantries, mudrooms, and more. You will meet with clients, understand how they use their space, and design storage that fits their needs, their style, and their budget. Your energetic approach will build confidence and excitement in customers as you guide them through the design process from first consultation to final installation. This paid position offers an engaging opportunity to show your creativity, technical skill, and ability to build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced sales environment.

Duties

Perform in-home sales consultations with clients to measure spaces, understand their storage needs, style preferences, and budget for custom closets, home entertainment centers, home offices, garages, laundry rooms, pantries, and other organization projects.
Provide in-home product demos using finish samples, hardware, and accessory options so clients can see and feel the materials before they buy.
Create custom designs and 3D renderings during or after the in-home visit using ClosetPro, presenting layout plans that make the most of the space and look great.
Prepare and present quotes in the client's home, walk them through design options, and close the sale on the first visit whenever possible.
Present lighting options, accessory upgrades, and add-on ideas to clients, using upselling to grow the size of each project.
Generate and follow up on leads through inside and outside sales activities, including phone calls, showroom presentations, and follow-up communication to close deals.
Manage client accounts in the CRM to track appointments, project progress, and new sales opportunities.
Coordinate with installation teams to make sure designs are built accurately and to our quality standards.
Handle product merchandising, sample inventory, payment processing, and basic math calculations to support daily operations.
Build strong customer relationships through clear communication, personalized service, and ongoing support after the project is complete.
Stay current on industry trends in home organization, interior design, lighting, and remodeling to bring fresh ideas to clients.
Stay organized by managing your appointment schedule, project timelines, documentation, and sample inventory for a smooth workflow.
