Overview

PourSight AI is seeking a Machine Learning Specialist/Engineer for a 2–3 month Phase 1 contract focused on building the foundation of an applied machine learning system. This phase is a proof-of-concept and learning period, with the potential to extend into Phase 2 based on results and fit.

Responsibilities

Build and optimize machine learning models using modern frameworks
Apply unsupervised learning techniques to identify patterns and anomalies
Develop data ingestion, preprocessing, and training pipelines
Deploy and test models in cloud environments (AWS or similar)
Collaborate closely with the founder to iterate quickly and efficiently

Requirements

Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, or similar)
Strong Python skills; additional languages a plus
Experience with AWS or cloud-based deployments
Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL workflows, and SQL
Comfortable working in early-stage, evolving environments

Compensation

$2,000–$3,000 per month
2–3 month contract
Potential Phase 2 extension or expanded role based on performance

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
