National Account Manager

Location: Inland Transport Headquarters (100% In-Office)

Compensation: $40,000+

Year 1-2 Earnings Potential: $105,000–$120,000+

Inland Transport is seeking driven, high-performing professionals to join our award-winning team as a National Account Manager. As a National Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in acquiring new business, nurturing customer relationships, and managing shipments from pickup to delivery.

What You’ll Do:

Develop, manage, and grow relationships with national clients across multiple industries
Drive new business growth through prospecting, cold calling, sourcing, and account penetration
Negotiate pricing and close deals with both shippers and carriers
Manage client shipments from origin to destination, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams for efficient order processing and tracking
Use CRM and proprietary software to manage your pipeline, and customer data
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay on top of market trends and logistics solutions

What You Need:

1–2 years of sales experience (logistics or freight preferred, but not required)
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
A high level of motivation, competitiveness, and grit
Ability to cold call with confidence and persistence
Effective time-management and organizational abilities
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Availability to work full-time, 100% in-office
