We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Swimwear Fashion & Technical Designer to join our team. This is a critical, hands-on role for a creative individual who also possesses an expert-level understanding of technical design and garment construction.

You will be the bridge between creative vision and factory-ready production, working directly with the company owner and sales team. Your talent will range from initial trend forecasting and brand development to creating detailed tech packs and leading live model fittings. Key Responsibilities

Fashion Design & Brand Development:
Conduct trend forecasting and market research to identify new styles, fabrics, and print directions.
Design and develop new swimwear collections year-round, aligning with brand identity and sales data.
Create detailed collection mood boards, color palettes, and flat sketches (CADs).
Technical Design & Fitting (Crucial):
Develop and manage comprehensive, factory-ready technical packs, including detailed garment specs, construction details, and trim/fabric information.
Lead and execute all sample fittings, providing clear and precise fit comments to overseas factory partners.
Analyze garment construction to ensure all products meet our high-quality standards and cost targets.
Manage and approve lab dips, strike-offs, and all pre-production samples.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work directly with the owner and sales team to integrate feedback and ensure designs are commercially viable.
Serve as the primary technical contact for our overseas factories, ensuring clear, effective, and timely communication.
Manage the design calendar to meet all development and production deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have:

5+ years of professional experience in fashion design, with a strong emphasis on technical design.
Proven experience in the swimwear category is required.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for creating sketches and tech packs.
A deep understanding of swimwear garment construction, fitting, grading, and patternmaking.
Demonstrated experience communicating directly with overseas factories and suppliers.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
A strong, independent work ethic and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have:

Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., CLO, Browzwear).
Experience with a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
A background in fabric and trim sourcing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
