Job Summary: The Programmer Analyst II designs, develops, supports, and codes low- to moderate-complexity software systems to support the administrative function of the University under moderate supervision. This may include departmental and moderately critical applications. Develops processes and web applications. Creates workflows. Installs, customizes, supports, and creates integrations for vendor-supplied software systems. Works on a team and collaborates with specific departments, colleges, and customers around campus. Supports their needs, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and responding to their questions and concerns in a timely manner.

Additional Department Summary: Provides application development programming support to the Department of Advancement Services. Designs and develops software and websites. Develops and implements application solutions for University fundraising activities, which requires expert knowledge of programming languages, application framework and database scripting.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree; OR bachelor's degree and two (2) years of IT programming experience; OR associate's degree and four (4) years of IT experience to include two (2) years of IT programming; OR high school diploma or GED and six (6) years of IT experience to include two (2) years of IT programming.

Skills and Knowledge: Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with users of varying degrees of technical ability and understanding. Effective time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing with Microsoft Visual Studio. Knowledge and / or experience with Blackbaud CRM, Blackbaud BBIS, JavaScript, WCAG Accessibility Standards, and Microsoft SQL server.
