Overview
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization, including HR and Purchasing. Will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing accurate reports to support business decisions. This role requires an understanding of manufacturing and associated accounting & reporting practices.

Duties

Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Oversee the general ledger accounting process, AP/AR, payroll and purchasing to ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines.
Be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all transactions and reports.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and ensure all accounts are properly accounted for.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasting future financial performance based on historical data and P/L.
Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Utilize QuickBooks and other financial software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Work closely to support management with operational decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of financial concepts, bookkeeping, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Quick Books, Xero or similar financial software is highly desirable.
Experience with budgeting, financial management, account analysis, and general ledger accounting.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to management and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
