Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Management Support professional to assist Program and Project Managers supporting public sector Software as a Service (SaaS) and enterprise system implementation initiatives. This role provides coordination, documentation, and reporting support for government or utility programs involving cloud-based systems and multiple vendors.

Position Overview – Project Management Support (Public Sector SaaS)

Witriol Consulting is seeking a Project Management Support professional to assist Program and Project Managers on public sector Software as a Service (SaaS) and enterprise IT initiatives. This role provides coordination, documentation, reporting, and vendor support across multi-vendor, cloud-based programs, ensuring projects remain on schedule, compliant, and aligned with public sector requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day project coordination for public sector SaaS and IT programs
Track schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and action items
Assist with vendor coordination, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder communication
Support project documentation, deliverables tracking, and compliance requirements
Assist with change requests, testing activities, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports for management and executives

Required Qualifications

3+ years of project management support experience in a public sector or regulated environment
Experience supporting SaaS, cloud, or enterprise IT implementations
Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting government agencies, utilities, or large public organizations
Familiarity with PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid methodologies
PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification (preferred, not required)

1099 independent contractor position
No benefits provided
Contractor responsible for all taxes and insurance

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
