Are you a self-driven, creative social media specialist with a genuine passion for resale and a forte for building a brand? The Cozy Home is looking for a Content Creator/Brand Agent to not only manage our online presence but act as a true brand ambassador to help us connect with our current customers, engage new customers, showcase our unique products, and promote our brand values.
In this hybrid role, you'll have the flexibility to manage your own hours and work both remotely and at our Monona, Middleton and Cambridge WI locations. You’ll collaborate closely with our management team on content and direction.
What You'll Do:
Social Media & Content Creation
· Independently develop, create and implement engaging content and provide insights on social media platforms for all locations and our Staging services.
· Create daily retail posts for Facebook, Instagram and any additional platforms; including inventory and events
· Create daily posts for our Staging department
· Proactively create a social media content calendar, anticipating holidays, store events, community happenings and worldwide trends for strategic posting
· Identify trends and opportunities for The Cozy Home to innovate and stand out.
· Utilize data analytics to deeply understand the demographics and interest of The Cozy Home’s audience on each platform to continually optimize strategy
· Answer customer questions on social media during store time to provide excellent brand-aligned service
Photography & Marketing
· Capture high-quality product photography for online use, ensuring clear, appealing images that reflect our brands quality.
· Photograph product-in-use, and store vignettes, behind the scenes and staff photos and videos for social media, telling compelling visual stories that resonate with our brand for compelling social media content.
· Provide photographs (existing or self-taken) of home staging for use across our social media platforms, showcasing the transformation and style of The Cozy Home staging work
· Edit photographs with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency
· Manage digital inventory of photographs when needed
· Be responsible for designing, editing, and printing marketing materials, maintaining strong continuity of brand identity and following through to the printing completion
Website Management & Online Sales
· Maintain and update our Cozy Home WordPress website in a timely manner ensuring content is current
· Anticipate internal changes and when they might need adjusting on our website
· Explore and recommend new opportunities for online sales growth.
Events & Community Engagement
· Organize and oversee planned events with a team
· Implement and update annual event calendar
· Explore new opportunities for community engagement events to participate in
· Create new opportunities for community engagement events in house
· Consider and submit community sponsorship and donation opportunities for Cozy Home participation
Other Responsibilities
· Be a passionate brand ambassador for The Cozy Home. You will not only reinforce but also strategically elevate and evolve our brand identity across all platforms, ensuring a consistent, authentic and appealing voice that resonates with our audience. Your work will reflect a deep understanding of our aesthetic, values and unique atmosphere.
· All content and photographs are proprietary to The Cozy Home and you will ensure their protection and appropriate use.
· Drive creative projects such as events, promotions, community engagement and additional endeavors as determined
· Learn basic store clerk duties to provide backup support when working in house and demonstrate a willingness to understand all facets of the business
· Reliable personal transportation, drivers license and the ability to navigate the greater Madison, WI area non-negotiable

· Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and current trends.
· Proficiency in photography and photo editing.
· Experience with WordPress required.
· Familiarity with online sales platforms a plus.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· This role will not work for someone who already has a full-time job.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE. This range is a starting point; your pay will grow based on your productivity and contribution to our business's growth. We are committed to rewarding exceptional performance and brand impact.
- Expected Hours: 15-25 hours per week. We are flexible and open to discussing a schedule that works for you. More hours are available as the role develops or as a backup in our retail stores, offering you the opportunity to increase your earnings and expand your involvement.
