PJT Camberview Overview
PJT Camberview, PJT Partners’ industry leading shareholder advisory business, advises public company boards and management teams on building productive relationships with investors and navigating complex shareholder matters, including on shareholder engagement, strategic investor relations, activism and contested situations, and corporate governance.
PJT Camberview is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Associate to join its Strategy and Operations team, a dynamic internal group driving critical growth initiatives of the business. This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on strategic priorities that shape the trajectory of our shareholder advisory business.
You’ll help advance high-impact decisions, uncover new growth opportunities, and support long-term planning and execution. With strong exposure to executive decision-makers and collaboration across teams, this position offers a rare vantage point into the operational and strategic mechanics of a leading advisory firm.
Business Development
- Support identification and prioritization of client acquisition opportunities
- Generate reporting and development of key insights surrounding PJT Camberview’s business development activity in collaboration with Partners and Managing Directors
- Facilitate existing client renewal strategy conversations with Partners and Managing Directors
- Own the tracking and reporting of PJT Camberview’s financial performance for the leadership team, including weekly management read-outs and quarterly earnings materials
Execution of Strategic Initiatives and Market Research
- Contribute to the development and execution of high-priority initiatives aligned with Camberview’s long-term strategic objectives
- Research, analyze and summarize material developments in the shareholder advisory landscape
Operations
- Support initiatives to identify inefficiencies and collaborate across the full team to design and implement scalable solutions that enhance team productivity and operational effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with firmwide teams—Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations—to ensure PJT Camberview’s strategic objectives are aligned with broader organizational goals and receive the necessary input and support for effective execution
Qualifications
PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have excellent academic, leadership and extracurricular records. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience supporting a senior leadership team, or working in business development and strategy within a leading organization, including strategy consulting experience
- Outstanding qualitative, analytical, and technical skills; proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations and articulate complex strategies clearly
- Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Resilience under pressure and a strong work ethic
- Foundational understanding of the institutional investor landscape
Expected Annualized Base Salary of $95,000 - $110,000
