Rolling Stone, the pop culture bible for more than 50 years, is looking for an Editorial Assistant to help with the logistics and production of our award-winning content across all our platforms.
The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented and able to work quickly and efficiently under deadline pressure. Great people skills are essential. So is a strong sense of story at a place like Rolling Stone, which has a half-century history of truly incredible reportage.
As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
Responsibilities
- Help produce editorial packages, lists, and archival content for Rolling Stone’s many platforms
- Coordinate travel, scheduling, and logistics for top editors
- Process expenses and reimbursements for contributing writers and key vendors
- Assist with public relations outreach
- Contribute to the editorial team as needed
Requirements
- Highly organized and able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle budgets, scheduling and complex logistics
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with content management or digital production system is a major plus
Typical wage range: $65k - $75k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
