This role blends storytelling with design. As UHE’s Content Designer, you will shape how our brand and our partners show up across multiple platforms and formats. From social media graphics to campaign collateral, you will translate ideas into dynamic visuals that move audiences, whether sparking conversation online, elevating brand presence, or creating a polished proposal that secures new partnerships or special projects. While design is the focus, you will also manage and schedule content to ensure that what you create is delivered accurately and on time.
About the Opportunity
This role blends the art of storytelling with the craft of design. As UHE’s Social Media Specialist, you’ll be responsible for shaping how our brand and our partners show up online - creating bold, visually striking content that stops the scroll and sparks conversation. You’ll bring UHE and our clients’ voices to life through dynamic visuals and social-first content, from eye-catching graphics to short-form video. Your work will span platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more, blending brand voice with bold, engaging creative that drives impact and builds community.
Responsibilities:
- Create with range. Develop polished design across formats, including social graphics, internal decks, proposals, presentations, and other collateral.
- Design for impact. Produce visuals for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and more that reflect UHE’s and our partners’ brands.
- Own publishing. Manage, organize, and schedule content across platforms to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Simplify complexity. Turn abstract concepts into clear, compelling designs that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Adapt and repurpose. Tailor assets for multiple platforms and uses while maintaining brand consistency and creativity.
- Collaborate closely. Work with strategists, producers, and brand teams to deliver content that is visually strong and strategically aligned.
- Balance speed with craft. Execute quickly while maintaining attention to detail, quality, and brand integrity.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Canva; portfolio must show polished design across a variety of formats (social, decks, proposals, presentations, collateral).
- Skilled in creating versatile design solutions that balance brand consistency with creativity.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience translating brand voice and strategy into clear, compelling visuals for both digital and print.
- Bonus points if you bring motion graphics, Figma skills, or video editing experience.
- Extra bonus if you’re into sports, culture, or storytelling for social impact.
