About the Role
As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as auditing daily revenue. You will support the Regional Director of Finance by completing financial statements, processing income journal deposits, and handling other critical and confidential accounting tasks.
Qualifications
- 2+ years hotel accounting or night audit experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel & Word skills
- Accounting software experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with financial reporting and budget planning
- Perform daily revenue audits and income journal entries
- Work closely with our Regional Director of Finance
- Process daily AP transactions (POs, invoices, check requests)
- Maintain AP controls per hotel standards and Uniform System of Accounts for Hotels
- Accurately code income/expenses and maintain AP files
- Support monthly P&L, budget monitoring, and expense tracking
- Prepare brand compliance reports (weekly/monthly/annual)
- Handle daily billing and AR
- Reconcile daily cash/credit card deposits
- Manage collections and resolve disputes
- Reconcile taxes daily and respond to guest inquiries
- Provide insight into excess departmental expenses and recommend solutions

Compensation
$64,500 – $67,500 annually (based on experience)
