Founded with the vision of creating intimate, welcoming spaces where guests can gather over shared plates and craft drinks, Bacari has expanded to multiple neighborhood locations across LA. The Role
We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Design Associate to join our team in-house. This person will support the Founder and leadership team in bringing Bacari’s signature design aesthetic to life across both new builds and remodels. The role blends design execution with hands-on problem solving, requiring someone who is equally comfortable sketching concepts, sourcing materials, and working closely with contractors and vendors.
Duties
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine Bacari’s design identity.
- Draft mood boards, renderings, and mock-ups for new restaurants and remodels.
- Source and manage materials, finishes, and furnishings aligned with Bacari’s vintage Mediterranean aesthetic.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and fabricators to ensure design intent is executed on site
- Oversee procurement and installation of design elements, from stone and tile to custom furniture and fixtures.
- Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all Bacari locations
- Provide support on special projects, including marketing, photography, and brand collateral.
- Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or related field (hospitality experience a plus).
- Strong eye for detail and aesthetics, with a portfolio showcasing design sensibility.
- Proficiency in design tools (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable problem solving in the field.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA 90021
