Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, project scheduling, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance production efficiency, improve product quality, and implement innovative engineering solutions within our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that optimize efficiency and quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production and develop corrective actions.
- Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo for designing and modifying layouts, tooling, and fixtures.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems.
- Oversee plastics injection molding processes and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with the assembly line team to streamline operations and reduce waste through lean manufacturing principles.
- Create and interpret schematics for industrial equipment and robotics applications.
- Engage in process engineering activities to enhance production workflows.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence within the factory environment.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards in all engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering roles with a focus on mechanical knowledge and fabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
- Knowledge of tooling design and assembly line operations is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
