Position Summary
Joe Hand Promotions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for turning raw data into actionable insights to inform business decisions, while also providing essential administrative and operational support for our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data analysis using spreadsheets and have a solid understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, with a primary focus on Salesforce, to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce's native reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support business objectives
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and service teams to understand business questions and translate them into data-driven analytical problems
- Create and maintain insightful dashboards and reports using Salesforce's native analytics tools, such as CRM Analytics (formerly Tableau CRM), to provide real-time insights to stakeholders
- Develop and document data pipelines to ensure the integrity and accessibility of Salesforce data for analysis
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and provide data-driven recommendations to management and various departments
- Work closely with the Salesforce Administrator to support the day-to-day management and maintenance of the Salesforce platform
- Assist with user management, including creating, deactivating, and updating user accounts, profiles, and permissions
- Conduct regular data cleaning and data integrity audits within Salesforce to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Assist in documenting processes, workflows, and best practices for Salesforce users
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned, such as data entry and document management
- Collaborate with different teams to understand their data needs and support their projects with relevant data and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a data-driven role, such as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar position
- Direct experience with Salesforce, including navigating the platform, creating reports and dashboard
- Experience with data querying languages, specifically SQL or SOQL
- Strong critical thinking skills and intellectual curiosity with a knack for turning business questions into data-driven solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including the ability to use complex formulas, pivot tables, and data validation
- Familiarity with Salesforce administrative tasks is a significant plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
