Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate, you will work directly with the senior L2 Capital operations and investment personnel, as well as management teams of our portfolio companies and external business contacts and advisors. This is a rare opportunity to get involved with portfolio company operations and build transaction experience by working with a nimble, energized team led by two seasoned lead Partners who have complementary expertise across value creation execution and investing.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Portfolio company monitoring and value creation support
· Financial analysis, modeling, and market research
· Transaction execution and due diligence support
· Participation in deal origination efforts

Required Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree and history of outstanding achievement in academic and non-academic pursuits.
· Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated performance in corporate finance, transaction advisory services, M&A consulting, or investment banking.
· Advanced proficiency in operational and financial statement analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and industry / company research.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with preference for individuals with experience in Power BI, SQL or python.
· Excellent organizational skills and capability to manage multiple projects.
· Intellectual curiosity with a track record of figuring out solutions to problems using available resources and identifying ways to improve on existing processes and solutions.
· A team-centric orientation with a willingness to roll-up sleeves in an entrepreneurial and collaborative work environment.
· A high level of professional maturity and integrity with a solid work ethic.
