Position Overview
We are seeking an analytical and highly motivated recent university graduate to join our Strategy & Operations (S&O) team. This is a foundational role perfect for an individual eager to launch their career in the financial software industry. As a Junior S&O Associate, you will work at the intersection of data analysis, business strategy, project management, and process execution. You will support cross-functional projects aimed at driving growth and improving efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Execution:
- Support senior team members in the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives and projects.
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure projects remain on track and objectives are met.
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across departments.
Process Improvement:
- Help map and evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new, more scalable processes and workflows.
- Document new procedures and best practices to ensure clear communication and adoption across the organization.
Requirements (Qualifications & Attributes)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related analytical field
- 0-2 years of experience at an internship or entry-level role in business operations, academic research, management consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth startup
- Deep interest in the intersection between trading and technology
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills. You are comfortable with numbers and enjoy data analysis
- Self starter with impeccable organization and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult concepts and collaborate cross functionally
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas)
