TRC's client, a leading wealth management firm that is entering a recapitalization process, is seeking an executive level Strategy Consultant to partner with the CEO, CFO, and COO.
This role will focus on developing investor-grade strategy materials, shaping the company’s positioning for potential investors, and providing executive-level insights throughout the transaction.
The engagement is 6 months (contract) with potential to extend. We’re looking for someone with a background in strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate development who enjoys working closely with the C-suite in high-impact environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO, CFO, COO, and functional leaders to develop investor-quality strategy overviews across core areas of the business.
- Provide strategic insights and financial/market analysis to strengthen the company’s positioning with potential investors.
- Build and refine high-quality PowerPoint presentations and investor decks that clearly communicate the company’s strategy, performance, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal project management to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent deliverables aligned with recapitalization objectives.
- Support executive leadership in preparing for investor discussions, board presentations, and transaction-related communications.
- Serve as a trusted advisor in a high-pressure, transaction-focused environment, offering perspective drawn from prior consulting, banking, or strategic finance experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in management consulting (MBB, Big 4 Strategy, or similar) or investment banking.
- MBA preferred (or equivalent advanced degree/experience).
- Experience in financial services or wealth management preferred, though not required.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and executive communication skills.
- Advanced PowerPoint and presentation design capabilities; ability to create compelling, investor-ready materials.
- Proven track record of working effectively with C-level executives in fast-paced, transaction-oriented settings.
- Ability to operate independently as a contractor/consultant, balancing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
