About The Team
Our product management team is at the leading edge of championing those products that will best align with driving our customers’ business outcomes on the Solifi's open finance platform. We work in close collaboration with all groups across Solifi, regularly partnering with Technology, Marketing, Services , and Sales to drive the formation, acceptance, go to market and operational readiness of new solutions that enable key business goals for our customers. We champion, grow, manage, and drive outcomes for solutions that contribute directly to the bottom line. And we bring our energy and discipline for product management to the organization, our internal partners, and our customers every day in pursuit of offering solutions that are market drivers in the industries we serve.
About the Position The Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role in understanding and translating customer business processes and requirements into clear, actionable design documentation. This role requires a strong partnership with Product Management to ensure a deep understanding of the customers’ business, including both immediate needs and long-term business objectives. The BA will serve as a key liaison between the customer and Product Management, building strong relationships and ensuring that customer needs and business goals are accurately reflected in product design and development.
Role and Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements based on users and business needs
- Create and define functional business requirements, design documents, business scenarios, and test scenarios that meet the high-level requirements as defined by the customer and/or product management
- Work with customers, SMEs and/or product managers to gather requirements, prioritize functionality, and communicate with customers regarding their business needs
- Work with Product Management on key strategic items and lead working committees
- Act as a knowledge resource for development, quality assurance, documentation, and support for product questions and issues
- Act as a liaison between the customer and development to ensure that any code developed solves the business need and is well explained and documented
- Follow design standards/procedures
- Create high-level acceptance criteria for development and quality assurance to validate the intended implementation of business requirements
- Create training videos on new features and write release notes for defects
- Provide high-level estimates upon request for new development projects
- Organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks/assignments/projects simultaneously
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills
- Participate in industry events and stay current on upcoming trends in the market
- Perform other duties as assigned
About You
- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience
- Motivated self-starter with an eagerness to learn
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 1-2 or more years of progressive experience within business analytics or related field
- Has good experience following Agile methodology
- Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of the industry to the completion of complex assignments
- Experience with requirements gathering and analysis
- Ability to listen to customers or business experts, analyze their requirements and supply solutions
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge of leasing
- Use Case modeling experience is helpful
- Experience with JIRA
