What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate has 7+ total years of accounting experience with at least 4 years in a Federal Contract/Defense industry environment

Knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations

Cost Accounting experience required

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
What You’ll Be Doing:

Implement new accounting and controls policies and procedures as needed

Report mission critical financial data within the financial statements to leadership

Ensure total compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal guidelines; Research and communicate changes in a timely manner

Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed

Oversee and manage the full cycle accounting process; Review month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, as well as AP/AR and payroll

Assist with cost accounting and costing related to bids/proposals as needed
