Manufacturing Engineer
12+ month contract with strong possibility to convert direct at 12 months
Location: 100% Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer to support the setup and launch of a new facility and manual assembly line. You’ll be instrumental in supporting equipment installation, material handling solutions, and implementation of manufacturing layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the installation of new machines, material carts, and equipment
- Assist in setting up a new manufacturing line and warehouse layout
- Implement and optimize layout plans
- Participate in the manual assembly process of purchased components
- Work with mechanical systems, products, and processes related to chiller production
- Research, design, and develop mechanical devices such as motors and assemblies
- Apply CAD tools (AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks) for modeling and layout planning
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BSME or BSIE required)
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience (internships/co-ops acceptable)
- Experience working with mechanical equipment, products, and systems
- Familiarity with heavy industrial or large mechanical assemblies
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD required; Creo and/or SolidWorks preferred)
