Manufacturing Engineer
Berea, KY
What you will do:
- Lead and identify continuous improvement activities in manufacturing processes, including automation, robotics, and digital systems.
- Provide day-to-day support to resolve manufacturing issues and drive improvements across multiple value streams.
- Evaluate and optimize new and existing manufacturing processes to ensure they meet production, safety, and cost standards.
- Lead teams in continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and 6 methodologies.
- Develop specifications for equipment, tooling, materials, and processes to ensure the safe and efficient production of products.
- Support the introduction of new products and innovative manufacturing strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain accurate process documentation, engineering change notices, and quality records to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Drive projects focused on capital improvements, automation, and process optimization to enhance operational performance.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of manufacturing experience.
- Skilled with AutoCAD
- Ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience in leading Continuous Improvement projects.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and ensuring timely execution of process improvements.
- Knowledge of key manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, assembly techniques, automation, PLC, and computer applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
