Position Summary:
As a Part-Time Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the boutique by supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, developing the team, and delivering a world-class customer experience. You’ll act as a role model, coach, and mentor for Beauty Advisors, helping to build a team that embodies the L’OCCITANE brand and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Service
- Drive individual and team performance to meet and exceed boutique sales goals.
- Foster a client-centric culture focused on delivering exceptional service.
- Lead by example in customer interactions and product demonstrations.
- Assist in managing VIP and loyalty programs to enhance customer engagement.
Team Leadership
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of boutique team members.
- Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to ensure performance and service standards are met.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Operations
- Support daily operations including opening/closing, stock management, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and health & safety guidelines.
- Assist in scheduling and floor coverage planning to optimize productivity.
Brand Ambassador
- Represent L’OCCITANE’s brand values of authenticity, respect, and sustainability.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and enthusiastic presence in-store.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, brand campaigns, and promotions.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of retail experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for beauty, skincare, and wellness products.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management is a plus.
