Title: Full-time Investment Banking Analyst or Associate
We are a San Francisco-based, boutique investment bank looking for an experienced Investment Banking Analyst or Associate to join our dynamic team. As an Analyst/Associate, you'll be the first point of contact for potential clients, driving growth and generating leads for our M&A services. This is a unique, combination role, that includes both traditional IB analyst responsibilities as well as business development and sourcing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Create financial models and customer retention analyses
- Manage buyer lists, datarooms, and due diligence checklists
- Conduct prospecting to identify and qualify potential leads in strategic sectors.
- Nurture relationships with prospects to understand their needs and effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings.
- Collaborate closely with the M&A execution team to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Setup calls between new prospects and senior bankers.
- Perform and analyze industry research
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in transactional finance, whether investment banking or growth equity.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- A self-starter mindset with the drive to achieve goals and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Interest in technology, familiarity with CRM software, sales automation tools, and AI
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university
