Job Description
As the Regional Head of E-Commerce, you will lead the Regional E-Commerce team and be responsible for the sales performance, customer experience, and overall profitability of the COS North America E-Commerce Business. In partnership with other members of the Regional and Global Leadership teams, you will lead the launch of new digital channels, marketplaces, and/or social commerce with an open mind to operate, prioritize, and structure teams differently based on business needs and evolution.
This is a newly created role at COS North America, reflecting our continued digital growth in one of our most important markets. We’re looking for a true e-commerce enthusiast — someone passionate about driving digital sales and delivering a seamless online shopping experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital tools and platforms, and be confident managing the entire online customer journey — from initial site interaction through to post-purchase support, including customer service, delivery, and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and define the North America e-commerce strategy aligned with COS’s global brand vision and sales goals, including revenue targets and customer experience.
- Drive growth and profitability by optimizing current e-commerce channels and exploring new market opportunities.
- Create a people-first culture, focusing on team development and supporting HR initiatives.
- Oversee the full e-commerce journey, including site merchandising, content, campaigns, and customer experience from purchase to post-purchase.
- Use data and reporting tools to inform decisions that enhance sales, profitability, and customer loyalty.
- Set and monitor KPIs to improve site performance through testing, conversion optimization, and tech enhancements.
- Collaborate with regional merchandising to build commercial plans that reflect local market needs and brand strategy.
- Work cross-functionally with Stores, Marketing, Tech, and Merchandising to ensure a profitable omni-channel experience.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity, applying insights through a regional lens.
- Lead and manage the regional e-commerce team, overseeing recruitment, development, and succession planning while aligning with global strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in driving digital sales and managing e-commerce platforms over the course of a number of years within the North America markets and/or globally.
- Proven experience managing ecommerce teams responsible for the complete online customer journey — from initial site interaction through to post-purchase support and fulfilment.
- Proven experience in launching new brands or brand initiatives, ideally within a digital or omnichannel environment.
- Demonstrated success in digital expansion, including entering new markets or launching new digital channels.
- Key Leadership skills in Communication, engagement, collaboration, curiosity, problem solving
- Excellent understand of customer service, delivery, and logistics operations within an e-commerce context.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce tools, technologies and channels
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance long-term strategy and short-term execution.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce KPIs, what drives and impacts outcomes, and how to optimize in a dynamic retail environment.
- Experience working in a regional/global matrixed org structure.
- Degree level qualification preferred but not mandatory

Compensation: $169,300 - $205,000
