Digital Marketing Specialist
Sani-Matic, a Sun Prairie, WI based manufacturer and a leader in the design and manufacture of sanitary automated process cleaning equipment for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries is seeking to add a Digital Marketing Specialist to help support the growth of the business.
In the new state-of-the-art facility, Sani-Matic specifies, designs, and manufactures sanitary process cleaning equipment including Clean-in-Place (CIP) Systems, Clean-Out of-Place (COP) Immersion Parts Washers, Automated Product Carrier Washers (Vat, Tunnel, Rack, Stick), Cabinet Washers, as well as a supporting line of components to address our customer’s unique plant and application needs. We understand that cleaning is a necessary step in every production line. We also understand that by helping the customer make the cleaning process faster and more efficient, they can focus on other key areas of production.
Position Summary:
This position is ideal for an inherently self-driven and passionate digital marketing professional interested in learning how Sani-Matic’s manufactured products, software, and services for the Food, Beverage, Personal Care, Nutraceutical, and Bio-Pharm industries play a critical role in people’s everyday lives.
The Digital Marketing Specialist thrives at finding engaging ways to present our story to our customers by working closely with the marketing manager, sales, product development, product management, manufacturing, and other departments to understand and promote Sani-Matic’s culture, products, and services through a variety of outlets. Digital Marketing outlets will include but are not limited to – website management, CRM management, email campaigns, email newsletters, technical writing efforts, photos, videos, blog posts, webinars, event support, and more.

Essential Functions:
Marketing
- Customer Service. Internal and external customers are our brand ambassadors. Provide them both with outstanding customer service.
- Project Management. Drive internal projects, as they come up, with efficient and thorough project management skills.
- Website. Own website content management, UX, and SEO optimization to improve visibility and drive traffic to the company website for lead generation.
- Marketing CRM Management. Deep dive into our marketing CRM (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and manage the campaigns (creation, monitoring, reporting), leads, and content creation, to deliver targeted messages to specific B2B customer segments, ensuring relevant and personalized content.
- Campaign content. Lead the marketing side of campaign engagement with CRM contacts & new leads, whether through email, social media, newsletters, email signatures, webinars, and more.
- Technical writing content. Collaborate with subject matter experts to write technical-oriented content around Sani-Matic products and services, producing blog posts, case studies, videos, or other marketing content.
- Digital Content Creation. Capture and edit photo or video content and design graphics for marketing material development. Assist with webinar editing and distribution.
- Social Media. Help grow customer loyalty and build brand awareness by assisting in the management of social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Future growth. Be ready and willing to pivot to new campaign marketing technologies as they arise (e.g., AI, VR, AR, etc.)
Other
- Report to work on time and work overtime as required and if required to travel for business: maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record as defined by our Insurance Carrier.
- Follow Sani-Matic’s company policies.
- Travel is required for up to 10-20% of the time for this position (annually), mostly for tradeshow support or marketing-related projects located within the United States.
Knowledge / Skills / Expertise:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a similar field is preferred but not necessary. Additional education and experience may be substituted.
- A minimum of three years’ work-related skills, knowledge, or experience in a similar marketing role is required, preferably in the B2B space.
- ABOVE ALL – Passion, positivity, and a desire to learn & grow are required.
- Teamwork – this position works with (literally!) every department within the company – be able to be a team player on the primary marketing/product team, but also when working with other groups.
- Drive – take initiative in all things digital marketing within the company by bringing new ideas, tackling unique projects, and driving growth for the department and company.
- Words matter; strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. You will be creating written blog content, drafting email campaigns, and using words to communicate our company culture and products!
- Website management – our website is often our first impression; help make it a great one. Develop our website using HTML, WordPress, Colibri Architecture/Building along with SEO optimization and Google Ads to make a great customer experience.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud and background with other marketing automation tools are required. Keep those engagements coming!
- Digitally knowledgeable – keep up to date with digital trends and make recommendations that can positively impact our customers.
- Adept at engaging with social media platforms – primarily LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and webinar software preferred (GoToWebinar).
- Solid working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneNote.
Environmental Conditions:
- Humidity-level may be elevated during summer months in the manufacturing areas.
- Exposure to certain contaminants, at times, if working in the manufacturing areas.
- Exposure to loud noise levels, at times.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee must be able to use a keyboard and telephone. They are regularly required to stand or walk, sit, talk, hear, and use their hands to finger, grasp, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift (up to 25lbs) and have the ability to adjust vision for close vision work.
