THOUGHTBARN is an architectural practice in Austin, TX, that champions design as a tool for imagining new possibilities. We’re looking for a full-time designer with 0-3 yrs of experience to join our team and help deliver an interesting and varied slate of projects in and beyond Austin.
You’d be joining a team of seven full and part-time employees in our East Austin studio. Our office is a good fit for a design enthusiast who enjoys being part of a small team and learning from peers, takes initiative in their work, and is willing to wear multiple hats. Qualifications –
- A Bachelor and/or Masters in Architecture.
- Proficiency with Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Suite, MS Excel. Experience with Rhino, Vray, D5 Render, Bluebeam and/or generative tools is a plus.
- Strong design, organizational and communication skills.
- Up to 3 years of experience in an architectural office.
- Professional attitude and commitment to excellence.
