Job description
Jomboy Media is seeking an NYC-based Intern to join our fast-growing team of trendsetters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter looking to make an impact in a hyper-growth environment. This person will work with our social team on a daily basis, primarily working on graphic design for our social accounts. We are in-office and expect all interns to be either at our NYC office or Warehouse in Jersey City on their assigned days.
Requirements
- Strong familiarity with Jomboy Media content across all platforms.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and have access to Photoshop.
- Have a strong portfolio of previous work for review and reference by hiring managers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of Jomboy Media's brand, voice and audience.
- You are here to get things done. You understand that in a start-up environment everyone wears multiple hats.
- You are organized, creative, a good communicator and a team player.
- Able to work out of either our NYC office or Warehouse in Jersey City.
Responsibilities
- Assist the social teams with various tasks & projects.
- Contribute new and creative ways to engage our community members through our digital content and social channels.
- Work with the team to create graphics for our range of social media accounts.
- Help with one-off internal graphics requests.
- Our internship program is currently unpaid. Candidates must receive school credit.
