Job Overview :
Compass Holding LLC is looking to hire an individual to assist the Chief Financial Officer within the truck and trailer leasing and used truck dealership divisions.
The Assistant Controller will assist with various financial activities of the business, with preparation of financial reports, work with lending institutions, leverage technology usage for enhanced business performance and assist with building a strong accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Review of month end closing including analysis of monthly financial statements, quarterly financial statements, and various bank reconciliations.
- Works on enhancing usage of existing systems and completion of pending technology projects to assist each rental and leasing division.
- Assists in the completion of an accounting software for one of the leasing divisions.
- Identifies opportunities for enhanced utilization of technology.
- Helps with investment funds oversight and works with lenders to secure additional capital required for fleet expansion.
- Assists the Chief Financial Officer with annual financial audits and ultimately take a lead role in this process.
- Assists the Chief Financial Officer with staffing and development of the accounting team as well as with staff oversight.
- Collaborates with General Managers in assisting with data analysis and various reporting.
- Supports the Chief Financial Officer with bank relationships and attends business functions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
