The Junior Process Engineer will aid in process improvement projects to help improve efficiency, reduce cost, and maximize profitability.

🚀 What You’ll Do

Assess processes through observation and participation, taking measurements and interpreting data
Conduct tests and monitor the ongoing process performance throughout production and make adjustments of equipment, tools, and processes
Respond to urgent issues and repairs, working with other departments as needed
Have regular collaboration with other departments and helping out with their projects when needed
Participate in planning, design, fabrication and production of new products and perform other related duties as required.
Work with production to address production concerns

🧠What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or another applicable field)
Basic knowledge of project management principles and the ability to manage small projects
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across different teams and departments
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
Ability to prioritize and multitask

✨Bonus: any prior experience with fusion splicing, fiber polishing, laser systems, interferometry or precision electronics
