Chief of Staff to Leo Bursztyn
Location: Los Angeles
Compensation: $110K–$140K base, plus performance-based upside

Leo Bursztyn is a behavioral economist and founder driving work across research, startups, and public life. He is also the Founder and CEO of NOMO.
We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to Leo Bursztyn to bring clarity, focus, and momentum to his world. This is a high-trust, high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, ambitious environments and loves turning ideas into action.
You’ll act as Leo’s right hand — managing time, priorities, and operations across multiple projects. Everything runs through you: calendar, communication, and execution. You’re the single point of accountability and coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Own Leo’s calendar, travel, and daily rhythm.
- Track everything Leo owes others (and others owe Leo).
- Manage meetings, prep, and follow-up to drive outcomes.
- Keep NOMO operations clean, organized, and scalable.
- Align team priorities and ensure projects move forward.
- Maintain systems that keep everything running smoothly.
- Serve as the hub between Leo, NOMO, UChicago, and partners.
Who You Are
- 4–7 years of experience in a demanding, high-performance environment.
- Background in startups, consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG), or operations.
- Deeply organized and systems-oriented.
- Excellent communicator with strong follow-through.
- Calm under pressure, high EQ, and hungry to learn.
- Lives in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles.
