Virtual Construction Manager
Our client is looking for a Virtual Construction Manager who would be responsible for but not limited to:
- Organize, host, and run BIM coordination meetings for our client projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, trade partners and our client’s project managers to develop virtual construction plans and schedules
- Laser scanning our client’s projects, potential projects that don’t have as builts, and model the building from the laser scan data
- Providing laser scans and BIM models for close out documents
- Working with Business Development and Marketing to complete RFPs, and create content for website and social media
- Attend in person and virtual project interviews to help sell our client’s technology capabilities and processes
- Modeling when a trade partner cannot, or a simple model is needed for a project pursuit
- Train and mentor staff on BIM technology and best practices
- Research and implement the latest virtual construction technologies / processes
- Attend construction technology conferences (1 per year)
- Either is already Part 107 (drone pilot) certified or willing to get certified (our client would cover cost)
Required knowledge of following software:
Autodesk Design Suite Premium REVIT, AutoCAD, Navisworks
AutoDesk Recap Pro or Similar (See Trimble Realworks below)
Ideally would have knowledge of (but can be trained if not)
- Trimble Realworks
- Trimble Field Link for X7 laser scanner
- Trimble Field Link for Robotic Total Station Layout and QC
- Oracle Primavera
- Imerso
- Syncro 4D
- Lumion
Must be based in one of the following locations (primarily in office role), travel between these offices and to jobs sites as needed.
- Options: Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Dallas, Atlanta
Salary: $90-$105K
