About the Role
We are seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to join our development team building our platform that is used across our flooring, countertops, and glass business. This role focuses primarily on web application development using Next.js and MUI, with opportunities to contribute to our .NET Core (ASP.NET Core) backend. Backend work will be collaborative but not a primary responsibility.
Our systems handle all front-office functions—customer information, estimates, project proposals, scheduling, procurement, invoicing, payment collection, and account management. You’ll help build and refine the software that keeps these operations efficient and connected.
We aren’t just using AI to help us develop code, we’re building AI assistance into our applications using popular AI APIs
Responsibilities
 - Develop and maintain modern web applications using Next.js, React, and MUI
- Contribute to RESTful APIs built with ASP.NET Core and EF Core
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement UI/UX improvements
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines
- Assist in maintaining CI/CD workflows within Azure DevOps
- Work within a Dockerized environment deployed to Azure Container Apps
- Use YouTrack for issue tracking and project management
Qualifications
Required:
 - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and React fundamentals (useState, Context)
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
- Familiarity with RESTful API integration
- Interest in UI/UX principles and user-centered design
Preferred:
 - Experience with .NET Core, C#, or EF Core
- Exposure to Azure, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines
- Prior experience in service-oriented or business operations software
Work Environment
You’ll join a focused development team consisting of a lead developer/manager, a senior consultant, and one intern. We use JetBrains IDEs and work in a Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This is a full-time on-site position with hands-on collaboration and mentorship.
