We are seeking a self-starter, highly motivated, Cyber insurance underwriter with a strong work ethic that will be responsible for working with the Global SBS Cyber team and growing the Cyber, Tech, and Cyber Property Damage books in North America.

He/she will need effective communication and project management skills to embark and work with all the external and internal stakeholders (Clients, Brokers, SCOR P&C teams, Claims, Actuarial, Legal, Underwriting Management).

  - Report to and support the SBS US RLM for new business development, renewal coordination, KPI monitoring, and portfolio management reporting 
- Coordinate underwriting activities in North America; manage broker relationships in NYC or Chicago supporting relationships in the South and West regions 
- Underwrite Cyber portfolio for Cyber, Tech, Property Damage 
- Regularly engage with the cyber pricing and claims teams; keeping them appraised of the latest developments of the cyber insurance marketplace 
- Identify and analyze existing and potential insureds, their cyber security posture, contractual mitigations, and insurance needs for primary and excess placements 
- Meet with brokers and insureds to establish SCOR’s position, carry SCOR's vision and mission to the marketplace, collect and analyze all the information needed for a through underwriting process 
- Proactively monitor marketplace intel, emerging legal and regulatory developments, and industry trends in property damage, cyber, technology, and media liability. 
- Represent SCOR in working groups, conferences, presentations, articles and associations 
- Be accountable for an efficient administration of his/her assigned portfolio as well as for planning/putting into action pre-underwriting and underwriting operations. 
- Comply with all Enterprise Risk Management rules 
  
 
  - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent 
- Insurance or Cyber qualifications desirable
- 3-5 years experience in cyber underwriting analyzing technology errors and omissions (E&O) and cyber risk exposures of companies over $1 billion in revenue 
- Understanding of technology errors and omissions (E&O), Cyber forms and coverage types. 
- Established retail broker relationships in the US market (NYC or Chicago) 
- 15% of travel required primarily nationally and occasionally internationally. 
- Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. 
  Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
 
 
 
 
  Pay Range for roles performed in IL: $112,000-$137,000 NY: $121,500-$148,500 base salary per year. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, 
 
 
  experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation
