We’re seeking a creative, energetic, and organized Junior Marketing Coordinator to join our corporate team and help elevate our brand across social, digital, and local media channels.
Position Overview
The Junior Marketing Coordinator will support PayMore’s marketing efforts by creating, scheduling, and managing content across our digital and social media platforms. This role will collaborate with internal departments, franchisees, and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and impactful storytelling across the PayMore network. The ideal candidate is a fast-moving, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and can balance both creativity and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Source photos, videos, and stories from the company-wide chat and internal teams for social content.
- Develop and manage a holiday and promotional posting calendar featuring seasonal campaigns and creative sales ideas (buying, selling, trading, recycling).
- Contact local news stations, online media outlets, and industry websites in franchise territories to pitch stories, gain press coverage, and secure listings for PayMore Stores.
- Identify and reach out to local influencers in key metro markets for collaboration opportunities (paid or organic).
- Confidently pitch PayMore’s story to media contacts and partners.
- Collaborate with our video production company to coordinate shoots, edits, and releases for brand and franchise marketing videos.
- Work with PayMore’s marketing and design teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand visuals across all platforms.
- Brainstorm and develop creative marketing ideas alongside executive staff to promote new stores, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives.
- Coordinate efforts across departments to maintain a consistent and forward-moving online presence.
- Communicate effectively with franchisees to assist with local marketing needs and campaigns.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively move tasks forward with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of marketing, social media, or digital communications experience (agency or franchise experience a plus).
- Proficiency in Canva, Buffer, ChatGPT, and major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook/Meta, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok). Must be computer savvy.
- Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams or managing multiple stakeholders.
- Confidence in media and influencer outreach—comfortable pitching and explaining the business.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a “get it done” attitude.
- Design and video coordination experience a plus.
Work Schedule and Location
Location: In-office at PayMore Stores Corporate Headquarters – Massapequa, NY
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
This is a full-time, on-site position (not remote or hybrid).
