Role Overview:
The YouTube Analyst/Strategist/Channel Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and long-term growth strategy of four YouTube channels. This role requires a proven expert in YouTube strategy, podcast performance, and digital audience development who can analyze data, execute strategy, and work collaboratively with producers, editors, and the social team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow channel subscribers, views, and engagement.
- Identify channel weaknesses, growth opportunities, and execute plans to address them.
- Partner with podcast producers to increase audience engagement and discoverability.
- Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Identify and implement monetization opportunities across all channels.
- Monitor competitors and industry benchmarks to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with the social media team to ensure cross-platform synergy.
- Partner with editors to ensure videos are optimized for the YouTube algorithm.
- Oversee the creation and performance of titles, thumbnails, and metadata.
- Develop and manage a consistent upload schedule and content calendar.
- Create compelling vertical content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat in partnership with editors.
- Enforce deadlines, ensuring all uploads and creative assets are delivered on time.
- Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years proven experience managing and growing YouTube channels (specifically podcasts).
- Demonstrated success in increasing subscribers, watch time, and revenue.
- Deep understanding of YouTube analytics, SEO, algorithm behaviors, and content strategy.
- Experience working with creative teams (producers, editors, designers).
- Strong ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital media trends and audience engagement strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 30318
