Job Description: Woyage.AI is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build an AI-powered platform. The ideal candidates for this opportunity will work with senior members of the engineering team to implement the AI, Frontend, and Backend components for the web enterprise platform in a very agile, fun, and exciting environment. This position directly reports to the Chief Technology Officer.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Write clean code, unit test, release, and support AI, backend, and\or Frontend components for the AI Saas platform.
- Design solutions for highly scalable and highly performant services.
- Collaborate with the geographically distributed product, UI/UX, and QA team.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent coursework
- 2+ Years of experience building API or Web applications
- Knowledge/Experience in Next.js, React/CSS, and React Native.
- Knowledge/Experience in Python and Python frameworks (FastAPI).
- Knowledge/Experience in AI/ML Concepts
- Knowledge/Experience working with large language models (LLMs)
- Knowledge/Experience in Python and Python frameworks
- Knowledge\Experience in Scrum\Agile
- Knowledge/Experience in collaboration and development tools (Git, Slack, Confluence, Jira).
- Knowledge/Experience in NoSQL (MongoDB) is a plus
- Knowledge/Experience in OpenAI GPT Models is a plus
- Knowledge/Experience in Cloud (GCP) and its Cloud AI services (Vertex AI) is a plus.
Time Commitment:
- Weekly 25 hours of commitment async
- In person Saturday, Dublin, CA office for collaboration
Compensation:
- The position offers significant stock grants for the initial six months.
- Initial six months unpaid.
- Compensation for this period will be paid in arrears once the company reaches $2 million in ARR.
- Ongoing half-time or full-time compensation will begin once the company starts generating revenue or secures seed funding, whichever comes first.
